THE BEE MACHINE

Game playable with keys and on mobile devices in browser!

If tiny bees leave this tiny planet, all we tiny humans with our tiny brains will leave it too. The Bee Machine is our last, vain attempt to repollinate the plants and prolong our stay.

The Test

Test fly the Bee Machine and bring life back to this tiny world. Pick up pollen from the last surviving central flower and deposit it on the 12 unpollinated flowers one-by-one.

Beware!

Natural, and not-so-natural, hazards can damage your delicate machinery.  Also, don’t forget to use your solar panels to charge up. The battery compartment is, unfortunately tiny, so hover under sunbeams whenever you can. And remember: pollinating plants provides the materials needed to replenish your machinery.

Experiments to try

The  bell icon on the top left opens an audio mixer. You can mix Music, SFX, and Ambience. At different positions in the game you will have a different selection of sounds to pay with. Try making it to the far left industrial zone, your bee can sit on the ground or a flower while you play with the drone and white noise sounds.

Good game, seems to play well for me

cheers! Thanks for confirming that. Phew! :)

The game seems fun but there is one big problem - the game is lagging to the point that its almost unplayable. I think you should reduce the aspect ratio of the game to fix this issue. For webGL games it should be 960 * 540

thanks, I’ll give it a try

Ok, I changed the build settings in unity to 960 * 540, had to leave the viewport at 560 to leave the fullscreen button on itch in view. Fingers crossed, and thanks for the feedback!

It was lagging pretty bad for me too yesterday night, but today it worked great, fun game :)

Good to hear, I changed the resolution to 960 * 540 as suggested to me, so was probably that.
